Bathroom Scales Not Made In China
Virtually all scales are now made in China. This includes analog, digital and even the new wifi ones from Fitbit and Withthings. It is extremely difficult to find scales that are not made in china.

Seca
There is a German company called Seca. They manufacture some scales in the EU. They are mostly made for doctors offices, but several units are for personal use. Our favorite is the Seca classic big dial floor scale. It is a manual scale, but it is very precise and gives consistent measurements. These scales are made in the Czech Republic.
Soehnle
Soehnle is also a german company. They specialize in various scales. While their kitchen and smaller electronics are often made in China, their bathroom scales and industrial scales are almost exclusievly made in Germany. There are a few models to choose from with various finishes.
