Basketballs Not Made In China
Basketballs are made by a handful of companies. Most of models, including the Wilson official NBA ball, are made in China. However, there are several basketballs that are made in Thailand and Vietam. This has very little baring on quality or price.

Molten
Molten is a Japanese sports equipment manufacturer. Molton makes all of their basketballs, except the cheap GT7X, in Thailand.
Wilson
Wilson is an American sports equipment manufacturer. Most of their basketballs are made in China. Even their official NBA match basketball seems to be made in China. Specifically the DRV Pro and DRV Plus basketballs are manufactured in Vietnam.
Nike
Nike is an american apparel conglomorate. They manufacture most of their basketballs in China. However, the Nike Elite Championship basketball is made in Thailand
