Microwaves Not Made In China
It used to be that all companies made microwaves in China. These types of electronics were lost to china manufacturers for one reason or another. We were able to find several companies manufacturing outside of China.
Microwaves
Samsung
Samsung is a huge Korean electronics manufacturer. They make several microwave models and are considered fairly high end. They manufacture most of thier microwaves in South Korea, although several US sold models have been manufactured in Malaysia as well.
Amana
Amana is an American company that makes kitchen appliances. Some of their high end commercial lines are made in the USA, but we found the medium duty microwaves are available in many places and are made in Korea. Commercial microwaves are a bit louder and tend not to have the glass plate at the bottom. They are usually much more powerful and easier to clean though.
